NAVIGATION IN PRINT DESIGN

In the above example the designer used multiple formats of design to take the viewer through the piece. Hierarchy was used with the stair case effect from where the image of the man starts and in size of the text as well as boldness.

The numbering in sections which follows below also tells the viewer to continue on reading and directs them to the right.

The man depicts where to start the image of him looking forward to the right creates the idea in the viewers mind to follow where he is leading.  The arrow behind him points left which insinuates that is in the past or backwards.
